1. The 14-day period
Where distance or off-premises contract rules apply, a consumer may generally withdraw from a service contract within 14 days from the day the contract was concluded, without giving a reason.
2. How to exercise the right
Before the period expires, send VIRELIX SIA a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. It may be emailed to Virelixsia@outlook.com. The model form below may be used but is not compulsory.
3. Starting service within 14 days
If you want service to begin during the withdrawal period, we will request an express instruction. If you withdraw after work begins, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service provided before we receive the notice.
4. Loss of the right after full performance
The withdrawal right may be lost when the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period after the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right will be lost after full performance.
5. Exceptions
Law provides exceptions, including in certain cases urgent repairs or maintenance specifically requested by the consumer. An exception applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not automatically cover additional services.
6. Refunds
After a valid withdrawal, any refund due is made within the statutory period using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise. A proportionate lawful charge for service already provided may be deducted.
