2. Proposal and scope
Before work begins, we provide a proposal or other written confirmation that may state the tasks, site, price, schedule, materials, assumptions and exclusions. Website prices are indicative starting prices, not binding offers.
The client supplies accurate information about area, condition, surfaces, access, risks and special requirements. If actual conditions differ materially, the scope, price or timing may need to be revised.
3. Booking confirmation
A booking becomes binding when both parties confirm the essential terms in writing or enter into a contract. We may request a deposit, access information or a site review before final confirmation.
4. Client responsibilities
- provide safe, lawful and timely access to the site;
- identify fragile, valuable or specially treated surfaces and items;
- remove or securely store cash, documents, jewellery and other valuables;
- disclose hazardous substances, biological risks, pests, damage and construction activity;
- provide electricity and water unless the proposal states otherwise;
- obtain any permission required from an owner, manager or other person.
5. Service delivery
We perform the agreed work professionally and with reasonable care. A particular stain, wear mark or defect cannot always be corrected through cleaning. Where a surface response is uncertain, we may recommend a test area, a gentler method or decline higher-risk work.
6. Products, equipment and materials
The proposal states what VIRELIX SIA supplies and what is needed on site. Client-specified products, specialist coatings, consumables and unusual equipment may affect price and timing. Products are used according to their labels and intended purpose.
7. Additional work and changes
Where practicable, extra work is completed only after client approval. In an urgent situation requiring immediate action to reduce reasonably foreseeable harm, we contact the nominated person and document the action taken.
8. Price and payment
The price, currency, due date and any deposit are stated in the proposal or invoice. Unless expressly included, extra work, travel, parking, specialist materials and third-party costs are not automatically included. Only consequences permitted by the contract and applicable law may apply to late payment.
9. Cancellation and rescheduling
Booking cancellation or rescheduling rules are stated in the proposal. If access or safe working conditions are not provided, we may suspend work and reasonably charge costs already incurred. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights are not restricted; see Withdrawal Rights.
10. Quality concerns and complaints
Please report a perceived shortfall without undue delay, preferably within 48 hours, with the date, site information and photographs. This request does not restrict statutory consumer rights. We will compare the outcome with the agreed scope and, where a complaint is justified, offer a proportionate response.
11. Liability
Each party is responsible for direct loss caused by its culpable conduct to the extent required by applicable law. VIRELIX SIA is not responsible for pre-existing wear, hidden defects, unsuitable previous treatment, incomplete client information or unavoidable circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Third-party services
If a specialist subcontractor or supplier is engaged with client agreement, responsibility and communication arrangements are stated in the proposal. We do not promise specialist work that is not expressly included.
13. Consumers
Latvian consumer-protection requirements apply to consumers. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or use another dispute route available under law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. We first seek to resolve disputes through direct discussion. Consumers retain any mandatory rights and jurisdiction granted by applicable law.
15. Updates and contact
We may update these website terms for future bookings. A confirmed booking remains subject to the terms agreed when it was confirmed unless the parties agree otherwise. Questions may be sent to Virelixsia@outlook.com.
